Mountain West Bank, N.A. offers five different checking accounts that vary according to the minimum balance that best fits your situation. Three of our personal checking account products earn interest. Safekept accounts have lower fees because we safekeep your checks and deposit slips and send you only a detailed monthly statement, reducing paperwork and handling. With a non-safekept account, an image of your checks and deposit slips are returned to you with your monthly statement. All accounts are accessible through our website. We offer debit cards, cash cards (ATM) and pre-authorized electronic payments. We will also help you set up direct deposit.

FRONT RANGE Free Checking

Get the freedom and flexibility of free checking and the added convenience of Overdraft Privilege with our popular Front Range Free Checking account. There's no minimum balance required and you'll get the same quality service as our premium accounts.

E-Plus Checking

No maintenance fee if you make 10 or fewer paper withdrawals per statement cycle. If you exceed 10 paper withdrawals, your account will be charged $ .50 for each withdrawal, including the first 10.

Traditional Checking

$200 minimum balance required. If your balance falls below $200 during a monthly statement cycle, your account will be charged a maintenance fee of $5 plus $ .10 for each withdrawal during that cycle

Premium Checking

$750 minimum balance required. Interest compounded monthly. If your balance falls below $750 during a monthly statement cycle your account will be charged a maintenance fee of $7 for that cycle.
