We provide a variety of checking account services for business: safekept and nonsafekept accounts for corporations and partnerships, with an earnings credit to help offset service charges; and interest-bearing, safekept accounts for proprietorships and nonprofit corporations. Safekept accounts are offered at lower fees because we safekeep your checks and deposit slips and send you only a detailed monthly statement, reducing paperwork and handling. With a non-safekept account, images of your checks and deposit slips are provided with your monthly statement.

Regular Business Checking

$6 maintenance fee, plus $.15 for each item paid; fees for items deposited are $.06 on-us (checks drawn on Mountain West Bank), $.08 in-state and $.10 out-of-state. Credit against your monthly service charge is based on average available balance during statement cycle. Non-safekept.

Regular Business Safekept Checking

$3 maintenance fee, plus $.10 for each item paid; fees for items deposited are $.06 on-us (drawn on Mountain West Bank), $.08 in-state and $.10 out-of-state. Credit against your monthly service charge is based on average available balance during statement cycle. Safekept.

Interest-Plus Safekept Checking

For proprietors and nonprofit organizations: $3 maintenance fee, plus $.10 for each item paid; fees for items deposited are $.06 on-us (drawn on Mountain West Bank), $.08 in-state and $.10 out-of-state. Safekept.

Nonprofit Organization Interest Checking

$500 minimum balance with variable interest rate compounded monthly. If your balance falls below $500 during the monthly statement cycle, your account will be charged a maintenance fee of $6 for that cycle. There is no charge for the first 50 deposited items. Deposited items in excess of 50 will be charged $.06 on-us (drawn on Mountain West Bank), $.08 in-state, and $.10 out-of-state. Safekept.
